Chef and owner Edward Kowalski is a professionally trained CIA graduate, class of 1998. He has been catering for 12 years professionally and opened Lola's August 2005 to rave reviews. Ed was a 40 under 40 winner in 2008, recognized by the local Chamber of Commerce for his community involvement, professionalism and quality service. Lola's receives positive press on a regular basis from local publications such as Poughkeepsie Journal and local radio stations. In addition, Lola's and its owner receive consistent positive feedback from customers. Edward has received overwhelming requests to extend the business hours of Lola's Cafe to accomodate dining that he and the staff had decided to open a new venture next door to Lola's.  He and the staff at Lola's are proud to announce that they are opening Crave Restaurant & Lounge right next door at 129 Washington St., Poughkeepsie. Crave will feature only the freshest seafood, hand cut beef, and signature dishes from that Lola's Catering has been known for. 

Executive Chef Catherine Williams is also a graduate of the CIA, class of 2001.  Catherine has come back to her home town after spending the last 8 years in the Virginia area.  She opened Village Square Restaurant in Winchester, VA, Grandale Farm Restaurant, and also was the trained at the Lightfoot Restaurant and Magnolia's.  Catherine brings a dynamic style to Lola's daily specials, signature vegetarian side salads and will be the Executive Chef responsible for delighting patrons with Contemporary American cusine at Crave Restaurant & Lounge.
